Question: I know a few have had problems with veins and circulation in legs. Am having an odd numbness and discomfort in left leg along with a change in look/not dramatic but sorta like spider veins. Sound familiar. What should I be looking for except a doctors opinion which I will get. My father had lots of problems with the veins in his legs. had to have new ones grafted in and then he actually regenerated new ones after spending 2 weeks of treatment at Hot Springs,Arkansas.
Answer: -Varicose veins and valves in the veins that don't work right...yuppers. Ya gots ta take it easier on yer legs...elevate 'em when sitting and put 'em up at nite. If the blood stays too much in yer legs you'll get those lovely shapely compression stockings. Be sure to roll the tops of 'em down under yer kilt when you go out.You have RLS, too? Restless Legs and they don't get a break...so being extra nice to 'em is important. I inheritied a tendency to weak veins in the legs as you did. Keep walkin' as much as possible to make the bllod circulate...and yeah, warm water helps too. Mine's called bi-lateral veinous insufficiency. Really sharp pain is cause for an ER visit 'cuz it could nmean a dangerous clot or phlebitis, m'dear. Hope that answers yer ??. -the tools are all back under lock and key for a few days. I now have a bit ///more than I had a week ago/// of perspective on this whole "Oh my god!", medicated remission thinga magingy. I've never had one. I've had several strong remissions but this is quite different and it snuck up on me cause I was not even thinking of Enbrel so therefore no preparation mentally. It caught the feeble ol' brain completely off-gaurd. I am going nice and slow today and will spend the evening with my kids. Maybe even deliver a baby. I got what you described in my legs. If the pain becomes sharp I will definitely seek attention. I have been able to start my walks every evening again to build the leg strength back up. I inherited the potential for so much crap I cant even list it without getting dizzy. My father had Bergers(sp) disease which affects the veins and is basically an allergic reaction to tobacco. I have quit but I started smoking when I was 13.
