Question:
I have some hair on my nose which the derm told me is from excess oil production (seb derm on the nose). I used to use nose strips to get rid of them but I learnt they're bad and may have given me spider veins. Any suggestions for how to get rid of them w/o affecting Rosacea on face and worsening spider veins?

Answer: I would definitely stay away from those nose strips. Sebum or seb derm have no effect on nose hair. It is most likely androgen stimulated or it can happen when using Rogaine, etc. I don't have any suggestions other than going into a laser/photoderm clinic and getting your spider veins treated with one wavelength and then getting the hair treated with the hair removal wave length. It might take 3 or 4 treatments, but this usually permanently removes hair now with these new models.
