I'm start to get some very faint red veins showing through around my mouth. Does anyone know of a product that will prevent these veins or decrease their appearance.

Answer: -Veinulo special from gernetic, if I remember correctly, however I haven't tried it myself. If anyone has, please let me know ...... in my case the veins are along the top of my nose, I hate them ! -Gatineau and Decleor both have products designed to help prevent/minimise these - although they have to be used quite a long time to see effects. A green-based concealer will help to stop them showing up. Standard advice for helping to prevent them is to avoid extremes of temperature/sudden changes on temperature (especially saunas), cut down on spicy food, alcohol and smoking. Taking supplements of Vitamin C & Rutin can help to prevent them - helps strengthen the cappiliary walls. -There's a couple of products out there I'm aware of specific for spider veins as opposed to varicose veins. One is Dermal K, available in many catalogs, such as Dr. Leonard's, but also in GNC's ($29.95). Another is a newer one, think its called Vita K. Vita K has formulas specific for different conditions such as stretch marks, scars, etc. so if you find it, make sure you're getting the one for spider veins. I've heard it should be in Savon Drug now or soon, don't know about other stores. I saw it for the first time in an independent pharmacy called Moulton Pharmacy in Laguna Hills, CA. Also, have no idea if these products work, but you have to use them twice a day for a month or so to see results, so they say.
