Spider Veins Removed, comments???

Question:
I've read the FAQs, checked out the Rabbit Hole and Yttrx's survival guide, but I just can't find an answer. Thanks to my two lovely children, I've got a lovely quarter-sized blotch of spider veins on the side of one leg. Ladies, some of you can (hopefully) sympathize. They're a cosmetic problem, not the varicose, lumpy ones. Can these be tattooed over to hide them? I've heard of medical tattoos with skin colored ink, but never anything with a color design.

Answer: -There is no such thing a 'skin colored ink' in the context you are talking about. Think of skin as paper, and veins, scars, tattoos as magic marker ink. Can you color over any dark color magic marker with at light one? No. And it won't work on your skin, either. You could very easily get a tattoo over these spider veins - tattooing works to cover scars and strech marks, as well, but there is no way you'll be able to just cover it like you would with makeup. Where are you? We'll see if we can recommend a good artist in your area. When you go looking, check out their portfolios and make sure they do good cover-ups - that means, they don't just use lots of black to cover everything over, like a big 'space' scene or fat tribal. Cover-ups can be colorful, creative, and suprisingly LIGHT, if the artist is capable. -I don't think you can cover them with a lighter color because the veins would still shine through. You could get them removed though, after getting them checked to make sure there aren't any true varicose veins underneath. They may come back though.
