Varicose Veins Herbal, question???

Question:
I am not a Matol distributor, but have a friend who took it religiously, and developed varicose veins and swollen ankles. My study of Macrobiotics tells me that any potassium supplement (which Matol is) is Yin: expansive, dilative, and therefore not good unless you happen to be too Yang: contracted, full of salt from years of meat-eating and you need to expand a little. But even then, it should only be used temporarily, or a point will come when it becomes too Yin, especially if you are vegetarian. It would be better for meat-eaters, since they need potassium to balance high sodium intake. Balance of Yin and Yang, sodium and potassium, acid and alkaline, is the ideal.

Answer: Do you really believe in causal nexus in taking any herbal-mineral supplement and developing varicose veins and swollen ankles???? You better ask professionals: herbalists, natural therapy practitioners, or even nutritionists to enlighten you, or at least read sometimes "Health Naturally " magazine. As far as I Know this tonic has Canadian Ministry of Health as well as FDA approval without any marks about any negative side-effects. You probably think all of them are a bunch of illiterate idiots.
