Question: My girlfriend has been pregnant eight times, and she has been smart enough to make sure that none of those pregnancies resulted in the pain of child birth. She was smart enough to prevent morning sickness, cramps, and varicose veins by having the little bugger removed. I commend my girlfriend and hold her in the highest regard for her intelligence and bravery in this choice. But what I want to talk about is what she had to go through the last time she had an abortion. First we had to fight through a mass of pro-life protesters who threatened to kill her if she had the abortion? Luckily the clinic had some escorts who helps us get in and out so she could have her abortion. They were great, they sang songs to drowned out the vulgar insults the pro-lifers scream.
Answer: That the pain of being with you would not result in pregnancy to begin with (birth control is to an abortion what a pre-emptive and preventive round of negotiations is to an all-out bloody world war, a crappy analogy I know, but it works). I don't see how not being intelligent enough to understand a simple cause & effect relationship is considered by you to be "smart." *Sex sometimes = pregnancy. *Pregnancy = childbirth. -or- *Pregnancy + cowardice -or- disregard for life -or- an evolutionary throwback in intelligence -or- lack of planning, etc. = abortion. (note: I don't contest that abortion should be an option to rape victims) *Pregnancy x 8 + abortion = someone who doesn't really use that last brain cell very much, or who doesn't know what a contraceptive is, or who doesn't care, or a combination of all three, etc....
