Question: Recently I encountered an ad for a topical cream containing vitamin K, which is supposed to clear up spider veins in just weeks. It says that dermatologist and plastic surgeons use it to minimize post-op bruising. Is this true, does it work? or is this just hype?
Answer: -I have also seen this advertised. Does it work? I had a laser treatment to remove mine and they just came right back. If a vitamin K cream would work, that would be wonderful. -I haven't tried Dermal-K, and therefore can't relate any anecdotes. There have been so many people asking where to get it that I am posting the address/phone number for SelfCare, which advertised Dermal-K in the March issue of Harper's Magazine:
